When my family goes out, it is an adventure. Not always the fun kind, but an adventure none the less.
Just making sure we remember everything is an adventure.
The other night, during our family bowling night, we forgot a few things. Like the double stroller. Kinda important.
Wipes. Forgot those too. Really important.
And my sanity. Left that at home. No, actually it is not there, or I wouldn’t feel so crazy at home. Perhaps I left it in the nineties, before I had more than one child.
We still managed to have fun. After the baby food catastrophe (you know, when the baby grabs the container so that the food fly’s everywhere…and I mean everywhere), after helping the two-year old find a bowling ball that she didn’t whine about, and after begging the teenager to act like he liked being with us…then we had some fun. Or pretended to.
